City of Ventura a series of music festivals to the Ventura Harbor Village. They are held throughout

the year to bring visitors a day of fun and music, help local charities and bring awareness to the

beautiful Ventura Harbor Village. The most familiar is the "Peace Love Fun In The Sun Music Festival"

which has been held on Labor Day weekend every year for the last 3 years. The festival gets a very

large and broad attendance of people. Some come with their chairs, umbrellas and ice chests to

enjoy the music, others bring the kids and make a it day of family fun taking in the pony and train

rides as well as the face painting and hoola hoop contests. Others come for all the above as well as

to enjoy the nice weather and take a stroll on the boardwalk with a friend or loved one.
